John Hirsch graduated from the Seattle Massage School in 1994, as the class valedictorian. Seattle Massage School is one year long. During each quarter John had 10 - 15 clinical forums that he attended in addition to daily academic training. He attended a cadaver fair to better understand human anatomy and physiology. Through this fair, he was better able to understand the types of physiology that he may access during a massage. Each year, John must complete 18 hours of continuing education credits to maintain his license in Washington State. Since graduation John has worked in several Chiropractic offices in the greater Federal Way area, experiencing differing approaches to pain resolution. In addition, John also worked with Dr. Owen Miller, ND at the Holistic Health Clinic in Tacoma, WA, once again observing and experiencing differing modalities of patient treatment. As a member of the Federal Way community, John has maintained a high profile through his pursuit and involvement in volunteer Emergency Services, assisting the community in preparation for major catastrophic events. His pursuit includes attendance in many preparation meetings, countywide and city drills, and specific training in search and rescue. He has been involved in several searches for missing persons. On October 30, 1999 John opened his own clinic in Federal Way, where he has been successfully treating clients since, frequently enabling them to return to productive and often pain free life styles. John's ultimate goals include continue Massage Therapy and educational pursuit of a teaching degree. |
